This Month We're Mainly Drinking... six great wines to drink just now

Lamb. Asparagus. Early new potatoes. Crab. The four pillars of eating just now. Here's what we'll be drinking with them.

Zephyr Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand got a fantastic review from journalist and wine-writer Matthew Jukes recently: "A work of art...chiselled features and mouth watering citrus fruit". What your asparagus is crying out for.

Ciù Ciù Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Italy -  Perfect with wild garlic risotto. Lots of character, white flowers, tangerine, textural dry white.

Domaine Sainte Marie Côtes de Provence Rosé - Beautifully pale, scents of apricot, boxwood and blackcurrant bud. Even if we don't get Provençal weather we can at least pretend.

Vina Zorzal Garnacha, Navarra, Spain - Friends and family round. Slow roast shoulder of lamb. Perfect.

Mas Foulaquier "Violetta" Saint Guilhem-le-Désert, Languedoc, France - Dark, spicy fruit. The lamb gets it again, this time in a tagine. Or something featuring roasted aubergine, Ottolenghi style.

Soc. Cooperativa Valli Unite "Alessandrino" Vino Rosso, Italy -  A blend of Barbera, Dolcetto and Croatina this is a beautifully cherry fresh and slightly smoky red from Piedmont in Northern Italy.

This case contains one bottle of each of these wines. If any is out of stock or becomes unavailable it will be replaced by one of equal or greater value and deliciousness.
