These six wines will make your weekend supernaturally special. Made by growers practicing organic or biodynamic viticulture, using minimal manipulation in the winery - no secret ingredients, no funny business.
Clement Klur, Cremant d’Alsace, France - A classy sparkling wine made with no added sulphites. A great aperitif.
Judith Beck, Wiessburgunder, Burgenland, Austria - Delicious, pure dry white. Delicious with a huge range of food or just on its own. Amazing with Horseradish and Smoked Salmon.
Foradori, Manzoni Bianco, Vigneti delle Dolomiti, Italy - This is one of our desert island wines from one of our most favourite growers. A full, dry white from the mountains of northern Italy. Amazing with rich white meat, seafood and loads more. We love it with smoked eel.
Stefano Bellotti, Cascina Degli Ulivi, Nibiô, Piedmont, Italy - Stefano Bellotti is a legend, a true pioneer of natural winemaking. This is from biodynamically grown Dolcetto, natural occurring yeasts, no added sulphites or any other additions. So complex and multidimensional. Great with meats, mature cheese, rich pasta dishes.
Ochota Barrels, a forest, Pinot Noir, Adelaide Hills, Australia - Taras Ochota makes extraordinary new wave Australian wines. Focused, savoury and totally delicious. A fantastic wine with food - great with game.
Domaine Cazes, Banyuls Rimage, Les Clos de Paulilles, France (50cl) - A sweet red from a biodynamic grower on the coast in the south of France. Made by picking Grenache late and stopping the fermentation by the addition of grape spirit, it's perfect with chocolate.
